The latest X post by one of the commentators went on to say, “It’s no fun to be…” hinting at being Brad Allen with some of the calls he has made so far this season. Warren Sharp went so far as to ask if they would fire Allen for the frustrating calls he had been a part of.

It seems that Allen’s actions during the Week 17 game between the Lions and Cowboys have caused a stir on the internet. During the game, the Lions planned to go for a two-point conversion, but when the quarterback, Jared Goff, targeted it at Taylor Decker, Allen interrupted and claimed that Decker didn’t report his eligibility. The referee stated that Dan Skipper was set to play this season, but Allen’s interference still caused controversy. Unfortunately, the Lions’ attempt at the two-point conversion failed. This situation has further irritated the Lions head coach.

Campbell gets frustrated!

Campbell attempted to convince Allen that he had already reported Decker’s status, even though things were out of control. However, Allen remained firm in his stance. During the press conference, the head coach openly expressed his emotions by saying, “I don’t like losing,” in response to a question about his frustration with the on-field drama and penalty.

Despite the lack of control over the situation, the Lions received support from various NFL analysts. The NFL analyst Rich Eisen believed that Allen may have been confused with the reporting status, and even Skip Bayless, a known Cowboys fan, extended his support to the Lions, stating that they gave their best performance of the season. What are your thoughts on Brad Allen? Do you think the Steelers vs. Ravens game will see a similarly controversial end?
