Venus Williams was in conversation with one of the nurses helping in the battle against the Coronavirus. The nurse was obviously excited while talking with Venus, and he clearly had a great time. In the end, Venus appreciated the nurse for all of his efforts by saying, “You are a champion.”

Thanks to the hard work put by so many healthcare workers, the 2020 US Open is finally taking place. Initially, many people were worried that it would be canceled just like the Wimbledon, but fortunately, that did not happen.
Right now, fans are looking forward to seeing Venus Williams play, and they can do that when she enters center-court today.

In her first-round match, Venus Williams will be playing 20th seed Karolina Muchova. They have never played each other before, but considering Venus’ wealth of experience, she will probably win it with ease.
However, the American star’s main focus is not on this match but on the much larger picture and that is, winning US Open 2020.

It has been a long time since fans saw Venus win a Grand Slam. Her last win came way back in the 2008 Wimbledon, and she has been trying to win one ever since. Winning in her home country would be the perfect way to do that and hopefully, she will succeed.
