Tony Ferguson and his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov is already making waves in the MMA world. The highly anticipated bout between two champions in the UFC’s lightweight division is set to grab eyeballs from across the world. The Dagestani UFC lightweight champion has smashed through his opponents every step of the way, amassing a perfect record of 28-0.
However, this April, Khabib will face the “Boogeyman” Tony Ferguson, who is his toughest challenge yet. Like Khabib, he is on a 12 fight win streak in the UFC and has brutally destroyed his past seven previous opponents.
Tony Ferguson’s post from 2019 is enough evidence of the damage he can inflict on his opponents. The Boogeyman is rearing to finally meet his match in the world of MMA, and possibly win over his nemesis.

Tony Ferguson explains the role of his team and family
Tony revealed that he has been getting help from sponsors, as well as his family.
Earlier, the fighter was under Paradigm Sports, the same company which manages Conor McGregor. However, the two parted ways over disagreements on payment issues. He joined the Ballengee Group and never fails to express his gratitude towards his new management company, who have helped him get great sponsorship offers from the likes of Monster and RDX Sports. Tony is also grateful towards his coaches, students, and his wife.
“I’m not playing around, I got sponsors, I’m making money… These guys believe in me. I didn’t have the support with the different management. Now I feel like I have a team.”
When asked about his wife’s contribution towards his journey, Tony had this to say;
“Making my food, helping me out, helping me fold clothes. Literally, we’re raising a little man.”
