The England cricket team were on Cloud 9 when they seized victory in the third Ashes Test. As it turns out, the hero of the day was none other than Ben Stokes, with his incredible batting. The Englishman singlehandedly snatched the win away from the grasp of the Australians to level the series 1-1.
An unbeaten 135*, coupled with 77 from Joe Root and a half century from Joe Denly did the talking. In the end, it was Ben Stokes and a solitary single from Jack Leach, that saw out the game.
