Leo Messi retirement Argentina and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has decided to retire with immediate effect from International Football after losing yet another final with his national team.
Argentina lost to Chile on penalties in the Copa America Centenario final today. Messi, also proved to be the culprit, as he blasted Argentina’s first penalty over the bar. Chile won 4-2 on penalties in the repeat of last year’s final.
This is Messi’s fourth final loss in his career. He was yet to win a major international trophy with Argentina.

Messi couldn’t hold his tears after the match ended and in an emotional interview announced his retirement.
