In an interview with the Formula 1 website, they quoted him as saying, “I really like clothes design. It’s definitely the creative element that inspires me. I can draw, but whether I would sketch my own collection, I don’t think I have that level.

Charles Leclerc has of course shown his liking for designs. He had posted on Instagram a picture of a specially crafted helmet for Ferrari‘s 1000th Grand Prix at Mugello. It showcased and highlighted the glorious moments the team had undergone over the course of their their 70-year-long storied stint in the F1 circle.

Leclerc likes to disconnect from racing

Leclerc believes the creative element in his mind helps him get away from racing. On occasion during long-duration flights, he draws a few sketches of clothes on his iPad. Perhaps it is those creative juices that also help him in the races when he is back in the thick of it.
