It has been six years since the Indian Cricket team triumphed in the World Cup. To this day, no Indian has forgotten the heroic feats of the ‘Men In Blue’. Another reason why the 2011 Cricket World Cup is so fondly remembered is because of Sachin Tendulkar’s swansong.

The things that clearly stick out in the minds of every Indian was the scene on MS Dhoni smashing that last ball six and the other scene of the team hoisting Tendulkar on their shoulders and giving him a lap of honour around the Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni also got the Man Of The Match award while Yuvraj Singh got the Man Of The Series award.
