Los Angeles Lakers are .500 this season so far in 42 games. They have failed to maintain their winning percentage over .500 this season in spite of so many top additions during the summer. LeBron James has been impressive for them despite their woes. Russell Westbrook, the biggest signing of the summer, has failed to settle in with the Lakers this season and has been criticized for his poor form.

Westbrook, popularly known as the ‘triple-double king’, has just 18.7 points per game this season. This is his poorest PPG since the 2009-10 season when he averaged 16.1. Westbrook has featured in all 42 games this season for the Lakers and has 9 triple-doubles. However, this is poor as compared to 38 triple-doubles, which he managed last season.

James has been single-handedly carrying the Lakers this season without much support from other starters such as Westbrook. While the Lakers might re-think about his signature now, Westbrook has no regrets over signing with the Lakers this summer.
