Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris gave a picture-perfect ending to the fight week at Jacksonville. The two clashed at the main event on UFC Fight Night 176.

“The Big Ticket” started strong by dropping Alistair and almost ending the fight in the first round. However, ‘Reem’ displayed exceptional resilience as he faced a barrage of strikes while still on the ground. However, he ended the first round on the ground in control of the fight.

“The Demolition Man” came into the second round determined to turn the tide in his favor. A few moments into the round, he landed a smooth high kick right to Walt’s temple, following it up with a devastating left hand. As soon as Walt fell to the ground, Overeem capitalized by immediately entering a turtle position. Thereafter, it was only a matter of time before the referee saw enough of the ground-and-pound and called the fight to a halt.
