Sunderland have completed the signing of French defender Younes Kaboul from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.
The move comes 7 years after center-back’s agent stating that Kaboul ‘wouldn’t join Sunderland even if there is an earthquake.’
Kaboul joined Tottenham from Portsmouth in 2010 making 140 appearances in two spells. But the defender did not feature for Spurs in the Premier League since November 9, following a 2-1 defeat to Stoke.
