The Phoenix Suns snagged tenth seed in the Western Conference playoffs after their Thursday match against the Indiana Pacers. They are currently the talk of the town because they are the only team by far, who has not lost a single game in the Orlando Bubble. They have to make it past the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies to earn the play-in opportunity.

The Portland Trail Blazers were on fire in their match against the Denver Nuggets. They achieved a franchise record of 23 three’s which led them to win with a score of 125-115. Damian Lillard led the scoreboard with a whopping 45 points and 12 assists. He tied with his own single-game record by scoring 11 three’s. Jusuf Nurkic also bagged 22 points against his former team, the Nuggets.

What makes NBA so interesting is not just the game but the banter that revolves around teams and their players inside and outside the court. One such incident took place when the Phoenix Suns showed their support for the Denver Nuggets in their game against the Blazers. The Suns took to Twitter and changed their Twitter handle name to ‘Denver Nuggets Fan Club’. But the victory for the Blazers came as a big disappointment to them.

The Portland Trail Blazers were not one to step back. They also went on Twitter and tagged the Suns’ account and wrote, “You can change your name back Suns. Because…BLAZERS WIN! BLAZERS WIN!” The fun didn’t stop there. The Suns tweeted back, “Already ahead of you”. This meant that they had already changed their Twitter handle to ‘Depressed Nuggets Fan’.

They went ahead and posted a picture of the final scoreboard of the match and wrote, “I am not mad. Just disappointed.”

Nurkic had a good laugh

This banter between the two teams was so hilarious that former Nuggets player and current Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic reposted all of these tweets on his wall and wrote,” You got to love NBA lmao” and tagged the NBA official page as well.
