Paul Felder calls out Jessica Eye on her shortcomings
In regard to this statement, Paul Felder has a few words of his own. He felt she shouldn’t be proud of the fact that she missed weight by “just” .25 pounds. However small the difference, it shows slack from the fighter’s end. It shows a blaring glitch in the level of discipline going into the fight.
He said, “To say that you’re proud of yourself for missing, and I like Jessica and I think she’s a great fighter, and I’ll probably hear about this later, you can’t be proud for missing weight. That’s BS.”

Eye weighed in at 126.25. She was very clearly struggling to hold herself up. Visibly the weight cut had an impact on her, and she didn’t even pull through all the way. And this wasn’t the first time she has failed to make weight.
