Japanese action-adventure series Yakuza has made its way to the mobile realm after Xbox announced that the first six games of the franchise will now be playable on mobile devices with the addition of three new Yakuza games to the Xbox Game Pass.
The first six games of the franchise revolved around its main protagonist, Yakuza Kazuma Kiryu, a reformed gangster who is part of the Tojo Clan. The crime drama styled games are one of the most popular gaming franchises from Japan with eight games in the main storyline along with additional spinoffs.
The famed franchise which began in 2006 with Yakuza recently celebrated its 15 year anniversary. And with the announcement that the development of a new Yakuza title has already begun, this move brings a splendid chance for the fans of the franchise to enjoy the older titles of the series on the go.

Three new Yakuza games join the Xbox Game Pass subscription

Xbox has announced the release of the Yakuza Remastered Collection bundle for PC and Xbox. The bundle has a few of the iconic games from the franchise, including the remastered versions of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5.
Fans of the franchise have been waiting for the release on Xbox ever since it released for the Playstation 4 last year. They are now a part of the Xbox Game Pass collection along with their previous titles, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 0.
The Yakuza games now join the likes of Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, all of which are now be playable on any mobile device using the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.

SEGA to release Yakuza 6: The Song of Life on PC in March
Fans of the franchise have one more reason to rejoice, as SEGA will release Yakuza 6: The Song of Life for PC on March 25. The game is the final entry of Kazuma Kiryu’s saga in the series, as he is the lead for one last time. Players on PC can now play Kiryu’s entire story, along with the remaining six games that are already available on Xbox Game Pass.
