This feature is a bit different from Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, xCloud. The cloud gaming service doesn’t require players to own an Xbox. However, to access remote play, players will need to have a Microsoft console.

The update also had various other changes, all of which are similar across both Android and iOS. The new changes will also allow users to party chat with friends across devices. They can now use their smartphones and talk to their friends through the Xbox App without having to boot up their consoles.
