There has been a new development in the Xbox Series X launch saga. We recently saw Aaron Greenberg’s announcement regarding a November launch for the next-gen console. But that is already old news. According to a leak, we may just have a confirmed date for the launch of Series X.
The Verge’s Senior Editor Tom Warren tweeted an anonymous tip that he received. Take a look at it below:

We know that the new controller is already leaked and some people have managed to get it. But this is some new information that has come to light. As reported by The Verge, the people who got the controllers also tried to register the same on the Xbox website. From that, they found out that their warranty runs out on November 5, 2021. This also hints towards the launch date for the console being November 6.

While a lot of people may argue that this could just be the launch date for the controller, Greenberg’s decision supplements the date. This is still an anonymous tip and should be considered completely speculative.
Multiple Xbox Series X related leaks over the past decade
Over the past couple of days, a lot has gone down with Xbox. First, the controller is leaked and people actually got their hands on it. The news of Halo: Infinite delayed to 2021. The gameplay reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase was heavily criticized. This is because the graphics of the game looks mediocre and ‘not next-gen’. The developers even addressed these concerns of the fans and revealed that they had ‘work to do’. But, they also claimed that the actual game will be much different in terms of graphics on the Xbox Series X. So this sudden announcement clearly says that they realized the fans were actually onto something and weren’t letting them get away with it.
Phil Spencer has also hinted towards an August event for Xbox that will give us more information on the Series X and S. With this possible launch date, what would be Sony’s move? The ‘console war’ is getting more and more intense by the second and come November, we’ll find out who comes out on top.
