The Xbox Series X is the next addition to Microsoft’s long line of consoles. It has been deemed to be superior when compared to the PS5. This is considering the GPU and CPU performance. But, we are yet to hear from Microsoft regarding the price and the release date for its next-gen console. So far the rumors suggest that the console is set for a Holiday 2020 launch. Well, looks like rumors are true.

Dina Bass, Reporter for Bloomberg says that the console is set for a November 2020 release. Check it out

Senior Editor for Verge, Tom Warren replied to this tweet saying

This is a valid question by Tom considering Dina’s tweet could imply ‘Xbox’ as the Xbox Series X, Xbox Lockhart, or even the xCloud Service. Dina hasn’t responded to the tweet (yet).

That’s one part of the story. In other news, we might have an answer to Tom’s question but from a different source altogether.

Microsoft accidentally reveals Xbox Series X Launch Date

Popular Xbox news YouTuber Rand al Thor 19 reveals in a video how the release date may be connected to ‘Yakuza: Like a Dragon’. According to the Xbox blog, the game is supposed to be a ‘launch’ title for the Xbox Series X. Jonathon Stebel, Communications Manager Sega of America wrote “Yakuza: Like a Dragon, an explosive new entry point in the acclaimed Yakuza series, will be releasing as a launch title on the next-gen Xbox Series X, with simultaneous releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

You can pre-order this game from the Xbox Live store as of now. November 12th, 2020 is the game’s release date. Since this game is a ‘launch title’, it implies that it will be launched along with the console. This could be an accidental reveal by Microsoft. It is also possible that they have given out the release date for Series X.

If you club this with Dina’s tweet, this makes even more sense because both of them mention a possible November launch.
