Xbox One users will receive an update this week that will change the look and the feel of their console. The next-gen Xbox Series X and S are also going to have similar User Interfaces so that the old players do not feel left out. Apart from design, the Xbox October update will also bring some changes in supported languages and themes. Microsoft released this new Xbox experience back in August.

Upgraded Xbox UX will give a fresh look and feel to the Series X and S

The Xbox UX is a common visual style for all the Xbox products across several devices. Accordingly, all the Xbox products on mobile, console and PC have the same design which makes them more familiar and easier to use. The new update will bring some exciting changes in the Xbox UI. These changes will include tile shape, fonts, and focus indicator.

However, Xbox has avoided any drastic changes in the UI with this update.

Users can customize their Xbox profile with the new themes

Fans can always express themselves through their user profiles. To promote individuality, the Xbox October update will bring some new themes for the consumers. These themes will also include some game themes, and players can associate themselves with their favorite games like Halo and Forza. To celebrate the next-gen consoles, Xbox has already released three new themes for its consumers. The new UI has redefined the Home experience,  refreshed the quick tips, and finding answers is now easier than ever.

Xbox Series X and S are easier to get started

A lot of new members will become a part of the family after purchasing the Xbox Series X and S, and the company looks forward to greeting them in the best way possible. Developers have made some “quality of life” improvements for this. Users will have a personalized feeling as soon as they log in to their consoles and will have access to their games, friends, and customizations.

Xbox now supports four more languages

Hungarian, Greek, Slovak, and Czech players will be delighted to know that the Xbox now supports their languages. To change, or access these languages, players can go to  Settings > System > Location > Language.

This is not the end of the list for Xbox’s plans for the future. Microsoft will focus on improving its user experience furthermore as it rolls out the new unified experience on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
