This collaboration, as a result, will enhance the mobile application experience on a PC. Samsung hosting the Game Pass is also excellent news for its customers who are Xbox fans. Xbox will be rolling out the beta cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in select 22 countries. Samsung aims to introduce this partnership in its new flagship model Galaxy Note 20 series. This unique Game Pass version will allow Samsung customers to explore xCloud, make in-app purchases, look through other DLC items, and redeem. These announcements come in light of the rumors revolving Samsung and Microsoft. According to Bloomberg News, Microsoft is pressing Samsung to integrate its PlayStore over the already existing Galaxy Store. These big changes have no official dates to them but this could mean a total makeover for the Korean giants. Samsung at the moment runs Andriod atop its own software ecosystem.
This move by Microsoft is a powerful one. This will aim to push mobile gaming forward with billions of existing Samsung phone users worldwide. Furthermore, console gaming might take a serious hit with console games becoming easily available on mobile platforms.

These announcements are a part of the tech giants coming up with new collaborations every year. Microsoft and Samsung may have other plans in addition to today’s Game Pass announcements. xCloud services could get integrated into other Samsung techs. But until then September 15th is the date to look out for.
