Microsoft recently announced the price and release date for the Xbox Series X. The console will be available at a price of $499 and its pre-orders start from September 22. Another exciting announcement followed this revelation. Xbox announced that EA Play will be a part of Xbox Game Pass, at no additional cost.
The Xbox Game Pass is an example of the ‘Games as a Service’ model. Here, users can access a library of over 100+ games. Phil Spencer has already stated in an interview that the Series X is no longer the ‘hero’ of Xbox’s strategy.
This only meant that they are focused on Game Pass and Project xCloud. The Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate offer players access to over 100+ games with the constant addition of a number of games on a regular basis.
