Xbox’s subscription services definitely stand out in comparison with other consoles like the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. With the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, members can play over 100 games on their Android mobile phones and tablets. However, the feature is currently limited to 22 countries. As per the Project xCloud head, “Xbox touch controls unlock new ways to jump in and play.”

Xbox Cloud users love the ‘touch controls’ features, and the developers have tried their best to improve it. Naturally, they do not want players to feel any difference when they play from their android devices or a physical controller. As a result, developers have designed every ‘touch controls’ title specifically for mobile gameplay.

Certain games will have integrated controls to best utilize the feature
Apparently, the ‘touch controls’ work uniquely with every game, and the developers have ensured that happens. They worked with the team at Ninja Theory on Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to coordinate specific controls and how they show up in different parts of the game.
In Hotshot Racing, players can use a touch-controlled throttle that works similarly to the analog triggers on a controller. Players can drift conveniently in the game by tapping the handbrake button and spinning the wheel.

Last but not least, the controls for New Super Lucky’s Tale will feel very familiar to the users. Also, the controls will be somewhat engaging with Lucky’s personality.
Players can further customize these controls based on their hand size and comfort and play their favorite games with just two digits. The Xbox executive claims this is just the start of their work to introduce ‘touch controls’ to more games. Microsoft has a technology-driven approach for the future, and the gaming community is delighted to be its beneficiary.
