Xbox Big Gaming Weekend: “This Weekend, Everyone Plays”

This weekend just got way better, courtesy of Xbox Game Pass. From the 6th to the 10th of August, Xbox Game Pass is holding the Big Gaming Weekend event, which will allow all Xbox users to get a taste of the Xbox Game Pass and the Xbox Live Gold by making all the titles under these two memberships free to play for everyone. Experience titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Gears 5, and ARK: Survival Evolved without the Xbox Game Pass or Live Gold this weekend.

What awaits you in the Xbox Big Gaming Weekend

As we saw in the Games Showcase event, almost all the games shown at the event will feature on the Xbox Game Pass. This Big Gaming Weekend event is set to give players a glimpse of the huge library of games they can access with the Game Pass.

Here are some of the notable titles available in the event:

Gears 5

Arguably the biggest title from the Gears franchise, Gears 5 features 5 multiplayer modes. The campaign is probably the deepest and the most detailed one in the entire franchise. This game has been available in the event from the 6th and will be so until the 10th.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited

This Elder Scrolls Online re-release received a lot of positive feedback from critics. Protect Tamriel, in this acclaimed MMORPG, against a powerful Vampire Lord. Set about 1000 years before the events of Skyrim, this one features a lot of chapters and DLCs that are available throughout the year.

MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD

Gear up as a hunter and slay ferocious animals in this popular hack and slash experience. Hunt alone or step up the game with an online co-op system. Explore the New World in addition to the Iceborne DLC, which includes the Hoarfrost Reach.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

This one needs no introduction. With the launch of Season 5, CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone brought plenty of game-changing additions and changes. If you don’t own MW yet, this is your chance to get a taste of the game for free. On a side note, players who own Warzone will be able to enjoy a glimpse of MW in the game until the 12th.
