Chris Jericho enters a feud with MJF
Currently, Chris Jericho is in a storyline with MJF, where the latter betrayed Jericho and built his own stable, The Pinnacle.
Not only did he form his own stable but also attacked Jericho and left him bleeding profusely. Moreover, MJF took over The Inner Circle’s locker room.
To retaliate, Jericho and The Inner Circle waited outside while MJF was conducting a meeting in the locker room. They surrounded The Pinnacle from all sides and started bashing them one by one.
Jericho thrashed MJF and dragged him to the toilet, dumping his head in. Furthermore, he shoved MJF’s head through glass and poured champagne over him. The Inner Circle took over their locker room after taking out MJF like trash.
It’s possible AEW might come up with a new storyline for The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle, pitching them against each other.
The reason this feud will work between fans is that MJF was very keen on joining The Inner Circle when he first arrived. He wanted to become a part of the stable and make his way to the top.
However, during a segment, Jericho and the rest of the members headed to the ring to discuss their shortcomings. This is when Sammy Guevara appeared and insisted Jericho see what he has to show.
