One of the biggest Hollywood stars at present, Dwayne Johnson, has had his fair share of disappointments on his rise to the top. After years of struggling, Johnson reached the pinnacle, in both the wrestling industry and the entertainment industry. Appearing as The Rock on WWE, he started earning fame and finally became one of the most popular stars on the roster.

Before joining WWE, Johnson also had a brief stint as a footballer. However, he failed to leave a mark there and unfortunately had to switch careers. After a successful WWE career, Dwayne Johnson joined Hollywood, becoming one of the biggest action heroes in the 21st century.

Currently, the highest-paid actor in the world, Johnson, also has numerous business ventures to his name. Businesses such as Teremana Tequila, Zoa, Seven Bucks Production, and XFL are all co-owned by Dwayne Johnson.

After XFL failed under the hands of Vince McMahon, The Rock purchased it from him. XFL is now one of the most anticipated things to be launched in 2023. The 2023 XFL draft took place from November 15th to November 17th. After the draft ended, Dwayne Johnson took to social media to share a special message.

Johnson stated, Thank you to the fans, XFL fans, NFL fans, real football fans. You guys are hyped up today. You guys were so excited about our draft. We drafted some studs. So, thank you to the fans. Thank you to our XFL coaches. Thank you to our XFL organization. Thank you to our great partners. Thank you to our great partners and friends at the NFL for your constant support. Today was a special day.”

The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson is also known for being a humble person, and he showcased his humble and down-to-earth nature by constantly showing his gratitude toward everyone who contributed to the success of the XFL.

Dwayne Johnson speaks about how it feels to be the owner of XFL

In the same video, The Rock spoke further about being the owner of XFL, having already experiencing failure in the NFL. He said, As you guys know, my dream was to play in the NFL on draft day. Draft day for me in the mid-90s, I waited for that call. I never got that call. That’s okay.” He further spoke about how life worked out great for him, and he has no regrets about it.

The 50-year-old said, Not complaining but how incredible, how humbling it is and just how f**king cool it is to have a day like today. I am sorry to cuss but to just have a day like today where now as XFL owners.” He concluded his statement by stressing that he cannot wait anymore for XFL, and would celebrate this achievement by sipping his Teremana Tequila on his plane.
