Former Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Sea Dragon defensive end, Chris Smith passed away on Monday, April 17th. It saddened football fans after learning about the loss of the 31-year-old’s death.

XFL holds a special place in the heart of The Rock and the athletes in contention. Hence, it made DJ sad when he learned about the passing away of 31-year-old Sea Dragon defensive end Smith. He shared the picture on his social media with a poignant message for the late athlete and his family.

Smith signed with the XFL team Seattle Sea Dragon this year on March 9th and played five games in the league. Prior to jumping the XFL ship, the 31-year-old was a part of the NFL and played in Tony Khan’s Jacksonville Jaguars from 2014 to 2016.
