WWE Star, Who Dated Nikki Bella, Confesses Hating John Cena in Real Life: “I Hate Everything He Stands For..”

In the WWE world, there is a variety of stories cooking outside the ring. One of these involves John Cena, arguably the biggest WWE superstar. All WWE fans are probably aware of his unpopular image on or off the field. Some of the players even like to maintain distance from him for professional or personal animosity. The biggest among them is probably current raw superstar Dolph Ziggler. The RAW star didn’t hesitate to speak his mind about Cena back in 2012.

Cena, the alpha male of WWE has shifted his attention to his budding Hollywood career and assumed a part-time role in WWE. On the other hand, Ziggler is now considered one of the veterans on the WWE‘s current roster.

Dolph Ziggler opens up about Cena

The two superstars seem to have a long history of dislike for each other. The duo headed to a feud in 2012, receiving huge criticism from the fans. In a previous interview, Dolph didn’t hide his disgust with the 16-time world champion despite his admiration of what Cena has done for WWE over the years.

‘You know what, I had a blast working with John [Cena] because I hate him, for real. I hate everything he stands for. I hate how awkwardly he runs; I hate that he is bad at wrestling but has this awesome connection with the fans, and I’m so great at wrestling and I haven’t made that connection with all the fans that are not in New York.’ Ziggler said in an old interview with Sam Roberts in 2013.

Ziggler didn’t hide the fact that he really enjoyed beating up Cena just like everyone else. However, After TLC 2012 match, the much-talked-about duo again had a chance to fight each other on RAW. Ziggler got help from Big E in that match and got completely astonished by his great presence.

Relationship with Nikki Bella

The duo was on harsh terms due to their connection with Nikki Bella. They both dated her at different times. In 2015, on the season finale episode of Total Divas, Ziggler expressed his feelings for Bella. At that time, John Cena and Nikki Bella were already dating each other. Ziggler even tried to kiss her but that resulted in a slap in the face later. The show created massive speculation about a possible feud between Cena and Ziggler further.

Many on and off-ring battles between the two legends of WWE history didn’t allow the duo to ever come close. However, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler both set their place high in the sport over the years and will remain an inspiration for many no matter what.
