Summer Rae is better known for her time in WWE as an on-screen dance partner and valet of Fandango. She and Fandango were the hottest thing going on in the company during the year 2013. After they dissolved their team, she moved on to the singles competition.
Rae was born in the New York City suburb of Manhasset, New York. She grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and attended Enloe High School and East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

Apart from pro-wrestling, Rae is a model, actress, and former football player. She was also in the reality show Total Divas, where she was the main cast too. She left the company in October 2017. Now in 2022, she will return to Royal Rumble.
Why did Summer Rae leave WWE?
Summer Rae, who was having matches every week on RAW or SmackDown and on the Main Event, was sidelined because of injuries. Eventually, after some time, she asked for her release and left the company in October 2017.

Recently she appeared on The Sessions With Renee Paquette, where she gave the reasons for her leaving and what she is doing post-WWE. She was suffering from injuries.
Rae said, “I had a bone spur in the vertebrae in my neck, C4. I have thoracic outlet syndrome. I think you can live with bone spurs. Thoracic outlet syndrome is horrible. A lot of major league pitchers have it.”
She got the bone spurs from constantly moving her head during her entrance in WWE. She constantly needs to have physical therapy. Rae could wrestle for 200 days a year because of her bone spur injury and left WWE.
What happened to Summer Rae?
Rae debuted as partner and valet of Fandango. She later also assisted Rusev and Tyler Breeze. In February 2016, she returned to the singles competition and stayed there for a while in a losing effort most of the time. Her last match was against Alicia Fox on an episode of Main Event.
They drafted her to the RAW brand in 2016 drafts. However, she got injured and remained out of action for over a year. Therefore, she left WWE in October 2017. Post WWE, she got her body healed and went to pursue non-wrestling careers.
Summer Rae’s life after WWE
After leaving WWE in 2017, she had all her treatments for the injuries and got her body healed. Also, she started a modeling career under her real name, Danielle Moinet. She is constantly traveling around the world for her photoshoots.

Also, Rae announced she had begun an extraordinary career when she joined Cornerstone Global Management, LLC, a cryptocurrency company, as their new Director of Marketing and Social Engagement. She is now known as the woman to take the cryptocurrency world by storm.

As of 2022, Rae will return to wrestle as a participant in WWE Royal Rumble PPV. This announcement came when she appeared on the latest SmackDown show, which aired from her hometown in Nashville.
