It all started when Sean Ross Sapp, a wrestling reporter, posted a picture on his Twitter account. The picture showed The Man from the Dark Side and The Bird Man posing together. Sapp’s tweet wrote, ” The Brothers of Destruction and Tony Hawk”.

Fans were quick to notice that the American Professional Skateboarder was holding a cane. Interestingly, Kane was the partner of The Man Who Cannot Be Destroyed in ‘The Brothers of Destruction’. So Sapp tweeted it as a humorous joke.

But the fans got worried about the World’s Most Iconic Skateboarder when they saw him holding a cane. People started speculating if The Skateboarding Legend is going to have to hang up his board if he’s walking around on a cane. And this led Hawk to share his health update with his fans.

Tony Hawk’s femur injury

Even the World’s best skateboarder is prone to injury. Earlier this year, in March, Grampa suffered a leg injury. Apparently, he had broken one of his femurs in a skating accident.

The X-ray reports the Skateboarding star shared with his fans showed that the accident left his femur severely damaged.

He also explained to his fans why he continues to do what he does, even at his age. And that his leg injury won’t stop him from skating.

“The answer is complicated, but ultimately it’s because I have found my sense of purpose and shaped my identity through skating, and it nourishes my mental health immensely,” Hawk said.

Hawk said that he “won’t stop skating” until he is “physically unable.” However, Hawk admitted, this recovery process will be “much harder” than the one he underwent for a broken elbow 20 years prior.

Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet had left fans worried sick. But fans are now relieved and happy to know that they will continue seeing their favorite skateboarder in action.
