The Women’s Royal Rumble was the second match of the 2022 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Ronda Rousey entered at 28 and punched her ticket to WrestleMania 38 after she eliminated Charlotte Flair to win.

There were other notable moments from the Women’s Royal Rumble which were unforgettable and got the crowd to cheer. WWE legend Melina entered second to start the match with Sasha Banks. However, she got tossed out quickly and was mocked by ‘The Boss’. 

Dana Brooke and Bianca Belair saved themselves

Michelle McCool entered and tried to eliminate Dana Brooke, but Brooke was saved when Reggie caught her outside and put her in the ring again. However, McCool eliminated her later on.

Also, “The EST of WWE” Bianca Belair gave us a 2021 Royal Rumble flashback when she saved herself from elimination. 

Lita still got it

Lita entered at 26 and the crowd went wild. She quickly eliminated Mickie James and shared a moment with her after that. Subsequently, Lita and Charlotte had a stare-down and started brawling. Lita connected a Twist of Fate on Charlotte and a hurricanarana on Rhea Ripley.

However, she was eliminated by Charlotte when she went for a moonsault on Bianca Belair.

Brie Bella eliminated Nikki Bella

Brie Bella entered at number 19 and started a “Yes” chant that got the crowd going. Nikki made her way out at 24, resulting in a Bella Twins reunion.

They eliminated Sarah Logan and then Brie tossed Liv Morgan over the rope to end her 37-minute stay. Later, Brie Bella took revenge for her 2018 elimination and threw Nikki out of the ring.

The Impact Knockouts Champion enters the Royal Rumble

Knockouts Titleholder Mickie James entered at number 20 and eliminated Michelle McCool. This was a historic moment in WWE, as it marked the first time a wrestler breached the forbidden door and competed in a WWE ring. 

Other moments in the Match

Sonya Deville attacked a returning Cameron to upset Naomi. Later, Naomi, who came in at 14, checked on Cameron, entered the ring, attacked Deville, and eliminated her. However, the WWE official returned later and dragged Naomi off the apron after she had gone over the top rope.

Might Molly entered at 27, but got blindsided by Nikki A.S.H. before she could get into the ring. The superhero vs superhero moment saw an already eliminated Nikki A.S.H. toss the former Women’s champion over the top rope in quick time. This drew boos from the WWE universe.

Ivory entered at number 19 in her Right to Censor gimmick with a mic. While entering the ring, she said, “It’s been an awful long time, but u can see that nothing has changed. It’s hard for me to look at you girls. What I see is wayward, lost little girls.”

She quickly got eliminated by Ripley.

Sarah Logan entered at 25 and quickly went to help her former teammate Liv Morgan. We got a Riott Squad reunion moment in the match. 

The Women’s Royal Rumble was full of surprise entrances, and we saw many returns. Ronda Rousey won the match and will face either Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch. As ‘Rowdy’ has been announced for Raw and given that she has a past with Becky Lynch; expect her to pick the Raw Women’s Champion as her WrestleMania 38 opponent.
