Ric Flair had no idea that his daughter made history by becoming a 14-time women’s champion. Ironically, ‘The Nature Boy’ was in the same building on the same night in Tampa, Florida, when Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

According to ‘The Golden Stallion’, ‘The Queen’ doesn’t tell him anything. And it is because he has “a big mouth.”

Slick Ric didn’t know about Charlotte’s return

On the latest episode of WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves, Naitcha’ Boy mentioned how he was completely unaware of Charlotte’s SmackDown Woman’s Championship win. According to Space Mountain, this plotline was “the best-kept secret” he had “seen in a long time.”

Flair was in the same building that night when the bout between ‘Rowdy’ Ronda and ‘The Genetically Superior Athlete’ took place. But Ric left the building and went to a club with his friends, as he didn’t have a single clue that ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’ was also present there.

It was only after when Charlotte texted him she was in Tampa, Florida, he found out about it. Slick Ric said, “We went to a club and Ashley texted, ‘Where are you?’ I said, ‘I’m with some hockey players.’ So She said, ‘Well I’m here tonight, dad.’ I go, ‘What?'”

He also confessed the real reason he was unaware of all this is that his daughter never tells him about anything as he can’t keep secrets.

Charlotte is the new SmackDown Women’s Champion

On the last episode of SmackDown 2022, ‘The Dirtiest Player’ in the Game surprised the whole WWE Universe by making a shocking comeback after a hiatus. It was minutes after Ronda Rousey defeated Raquel Rodriguez and successfully defended her title.

On the night of her comeback, ‘The Queen’ challenged ‘Rowdy’ for her SmackDown women’s title. Rousey’s ring-side partner tried to convince her to not put the title on the line, as she was already exhausted because of her previous match. But Rousey was feeling a little extra “spicy” that night and she put the title on the line, anyway.

As soon as the bell rang, Charlotte took down ‘The Arm Collector’ with a big boot. After this, Charlotte tried to hit Rousey with a spear, but the latter counteracted it with an arm bar. To everyone’s surprise, Charlotte rolled up Rousey against the mat and picked up a pinfall victory over ‘Rowdy’.
