Wrestling fans have already considered Charlotte Flair the greatest WWE superstar of the current generation. Her matches are full of big moments and a must-watch. Out of five women’s Royal Rumble, she has won once and is a runner-up twice.
She is one of the toughest women in WWE right now. Other women on the roster like to work with Charlotte in the ring. She has become a veteran in WWE in quick succession. One of her best friends is Nia Jax, with whom she had a match on RAW, which is famous for both women laying on each other during the match.

Recently Nia Jax appeared on The Sessions with Renee Paquette on YouTube. There she recalled about what happened in that match. She opened with, “Obviously, Charlotte is just an insane competitor.”
There was a miscommunication between both women in the match, and this led Charlotte to get a little angry. She started laying it on Nia and both started slapping each other. Most of it happened during a commercial break, so many people did not see it.

Nia further said, “And we were just kind of laying into each other. I was like, ‘what the heck is going on right now?’ I think at the point where everybody saw on TV, I was like ‘f*ck this dude. You’re laying into me. I don’t know what’s going on.’ So I just kind of gave her a two-piece back, that kind of rocked her back into ‘let’s finish out this match and get s–t together.” (The Sessions with Renee Paquette, H/T Wrestling Inc.)
Because of a small miscommunication, there was a lot of heat during the match between both of them. They quickly ended the match and went backstage to settle their beef, which started during the match.
What happened between Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax after that match?
Nia Jax said to Renee in the show that both she and Charlotte are best friends. Things were cooled down between them when they went backstage after the match.
Nia told Renee, “And I said ‘are you sure?’ And she said ‘yeah, no no.’ I think one of the producers was like ‘are you okay?’ And she (Charlotte Flair) was like ‘yeah, Nia’s one of my best friends.” (The Sessions with Renee Paquette, H/T Wrestling Inc. )

Being pro-wrestlers, both Nia and Charlotte were aware things like this happen sometimes. However, they walked away from each other, but once the internet went crazy over this incident, Nia confronted Charlotte later on. She told Nia everything was fine and to let it go.

They left the heat in the ring and both did not make that little miscommunication in the match to affect their friendship.
