Jackass Forever star Johnny Knoxville shocked the fans when he announced that he will be a part of the Royal Rumble this year. The man who is known for his work in the Jackass franchise is a fan of pro-wrestling. However, this year he will enter the arena not just as a fan but as a competitor in the Royal Rumble.
We mainly know Knoxville for the TV reality and stunt show, Jackass, and its subsequent movies. Knoxville qualified for the Royal Rumble when he threw Sami Zayn over the top rope on the 8th January episode of SmackDown.

Knoxville is a WWE fan and even appeared in a small segment with Ted DiBiase Jr. and Maryse back in 2010. Recently, for the second time, he came out to confront Sami Zayn on the 21st January 2022 episode of SmackDown and tossed him over the top rope, saying, “See you at the Royal Rumble.”

Recently, Johnny Knoxville appeared on a media call where he revealed his plans to wrestle at Royal Rumble. He said, “I’ve got some cornermen I’m bringing with me. I’m going to have the greatest corner there that night.” – H/T St. Louis Post – Dispatch.
Knoxville said he’ll be bringing some of his “Jackass” friends to support him in St. Louis, so fans can expect even more surprises at the event. Alongside Johnny Knoxville, fans can expect the cast of Jackass Forever, including the likes of Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy to possibly appear at the Royal Rumble event.
Knoxville said that people are going to get hurt, and he will not be one of them. His prime targets at the Royal Rumble will be Sami Zayn and Austin Theory.
He also cut a Jackass promo, “My name is Johnny Knoxville, I come from the south — I like to talk smack and run my mouth.” He also added, “I’m the boy from Tennessee and I’m the king of the WWE.”

Other than revealing his plans to wrestle at the Royal Rumble, Knoxville also told how he respects Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. He is happy that he will be at the Royal Rumble with Orton and Riddle, but inside the ring, he will treat everyone the same and will do everything to survive in the Royal Rumble.
Knoxville said, “It’s no reflection on the great people of St. Louis what I do to them in the ring — again, it’s just business.”

As of now, Johnny Knoxville will be with the WWE till the Royal Rumble. But you never say never in WWE. Like Bad Bunny competed last year at WrestleMania 37, we might see Knoxville do the same. Nothing is clear as of now. We will get to know about his future status with WWE after the Royal Rumble.
