The wrestler’s tweet was appreciated greatly. What’s more, it was viewed almost 2.5 million times. Dwayne Johnson was referring to the incident that happened with Damar Hamlin. He is a famous Buffalo Bills football player. Therefore, the incident that took place on 2nd January shocked fans.

Dwayne Johnson extends support

Damar Hamlin suffered from a cardiac arrest on 2nd January. Hence, after this happened during the Bengals versus Bills game, fans were quick to extend support. Not only that, but his recovery was also being closely followed. One of the people following his story was The Rock.

The incident that the wrestler is referring to happened when Hamlin regained consciousness. The first question he asked was regarding the game. “Did we win?” Hamlin asked. What’s more, this came to light in a press conference by UC Health. Doctors responded by stating, “Yes, you won the game of life.” 

Dwayne Johnson further stated that this moves his soul. He celebrated this selfless gesture by taking to Twitter.

Furthermore, Dwayne also stated that Hamlin must now be feeling all the love that was sent his way. The Rock is a keen follower of other sports, and seldom shares his reactions and excitement about upcoming games.

The incident that shocked fans

According to reports, the NFL had to pause the game in between as they saw the 24-year-old player fall to the ground. Post this, doctors reported that he had regained consciousness. Hamlin’s parents have constantly been with him.

Now that he is neurologically active, doctors are hopeful about recovery. He is currently communicating by writing. His question about the output of the game was also regarded as an extremely selfless one. Hence, it was widely appreciated and also made some fans teary.
