This Saturday, the WWE Universe saw six women competing inside the Elimination Chamber for a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39. These six women were Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Carmella, Natalya and Nikki Cross.
The women’s chamber match saw only one woman walk out of the chamber victorious. And it was The Empress of Tomorrow. And she will head towards to go one-on-one with The EST at The Showcase of Immortals, this year. Also, there was another superstar that was looking to get a singles action with the Raw Women’s Champion, before the 41-year-old grabbed the spot.

Raquel Rodriguez wanted to test herself against Bianca Belair
Speaking to Love Wrestling, prior to her Elimination Chamber match, the blue brand superstar expressed her desire to have a fight with the Raw Women’s Champion at The Grandest Stage of Them All. She claimed that having the opportunity to sqaure off against Bianca “would be a dream match” for her.
She said that she has never stepped inside the ring with the reigning WWE Raw Women’s Champion in a singles match, therefore would “love” to have a “powerhouse-match.” The 2-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion added that a match with The EST would teach her a lot of new things, and she is “hungry” for that “knowledge.”

Rodriguez then added that she is relatively new in the main roaster than compared to other wrestlers in the women’s division. But she is also “ready to go” and “ready for whatever they’re willing to throw” at her.
The Towering Texan had her eyes on Asuka
In the same interview, the 32-year-old also spoke about who she would be looking out for at the chamber match. She felt the Japanese pro wrestler would be one of the toughest competitors among the other five women inside the chamber match.

She said, “I’m definitely preparing for Asuka. I feel like ever since she has had this moment where she has kind of gone to the dark side of Asuka; she has changed a lot. It’s a different side of her that I think we all need to be on our toes and be prepared for her. I’m ready for Asuka.”
Unfortunately for the 1-time NXT Women’s Champion, she fell short to The Empress of Tomorrow. The latter defeated her and the other four women to punch a ticket to ‘WrestleMania Goes Hollywood’ this year.
