According to recent reports from FightfulSelect.com, WWE first pitched The Conqueror the idea of fighting Bray Wyatt. But he nixed the idea and chose the 416 lb superstar instead as his opponent for WrestleMania this year.

Let’s have a look at what the WWE Universe has to say in this matter.
A fraction of the WWE Universe believes The Beast rejected the idea of fighting The Eater of the Worlds at WrestleMania because the former was afraid to face the latter. Fans claimed that Lesnar knew The Reaper would be the one to walk out victorious if the match were to happen.
Brock is a fan of Bray Wyatt..he just probably dont want lost on WM.

Would have been a good match. Guess Brock is scared of bray

Smart by Lesnar. Nothing good happens when you wrestle Bray Wyatt.

I mean I understand why it would’ve been a good match but he would’ve had to lose

cause he knew he would lose

While other fans believe that Wyatt’s existing storyline is all over the place. And The Beast Incarnate doesn’t want to get involved in a confused storyline.
Some sort of direction is needed for Bray. Can’t figure out what or who he’s supposed to be from one week to the next.
The whole Uncle Howdy story needs to be dropped.— Lee-John Pattinson (@lpatz80) March 2, 2023
Damn, Bray so lost right now that Brock thinks he can make more money with Omos 😂
— Legendary (@Legendary_twch) March 1, 2023
I don’t blame him tbh. I don’t know what Bray is doing but his storylines don’t seem to be going anywhere. Brock didn’t want to get messed up in that.
Don’t know why he couldn’t fight Gunther though.

Wyatt was already sinking badly, but that pitch black match just destroyed anything the character had left.

I wish bray would go somewhere. Feels like his story has been all over the place

This surprising development highlighted the lurch Bray Wyatt is in at the moment. However, an intriguing clash is on the horizon.
Bray Wyatt’s opponent for WrestleMania this year
The WWE Universe will not be getting The Beast vs The Reaper this year at The Showcase of Immortals. However, an equally outstanding match is apparently coming our way, in which we will soon see The New Face of Fear and The Almighty on the opposite corners of the squared circle.
The storyline of Wyatt and Bobby Lashley took shape when the former announced who will be his next target on the February 17, 2023 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Appearing on the show that day, The Eater of the Worlds warned the winner of Lesnar vs Lashley at WWE Elimination Chamber to “run.”

The Almighty won the match via disqualification in Montreal, Canada, on February 18, and The Reaper has been targeting him ever since. This week earlier on Monday, the audience of the red brand show witnessed the return of the “Muscle Man Dance,” where the latter name-dropped the former.
We are almost four weeks away from The Showcase of Immortals. As we approach this year’s WrestleMania 39, we will see further development in the feud between Lashley and Wyatt. Fans can also expect the match to get officially confirmed very soon.
