In an interview, The 16-Time world Champion once confessed to being a victim of hatred from his co-workers during the early stage of his wrestling career. The star revealed he used to spend a lot of time “in the bleachers just writing punchlines”. And because of that, he “became ostracized and hated” by his “co-workers”.

The star mentioned his workmates used to think that he “didn’t care about the business.” Because he wasn’t “around the ring with his shoulders on the canvas going ‘okay, who’s in the ring’”.

But the reality was different. Cena was “trying to develop a connection with the audience” and that was “the most important thing” for him.

According to Nash, the strategy behind this was when The Chain Gang soldier would take his t-shirt off, fans would go berserk over his marvelous physique. And we have to admit, it was indeed a brilliant strategy.
