The WWE Universe is in high spirits after getting the news of Ricochet proposing to his girlfriend. After having a long relationship of almost two years, the happy couple is finally going to tie the knot.

And fans can’t stop pouring their love and congratulations on the couple.

Ricochet and Samantha Irvin are engaged

On Tuesday, 10 January, Ricochet (real name Trevor Dean Mann) took to his Instagram account to announce one of the greatest news of his life. The 34-year-old wrestler shared photos of his proposal to Samantha Irvin.

The caption on the blue brand superstar’s Instagram post read, “She said YES! [hands raised emoji] When you find that one person. The one person that when you close your eyes, you could never visualize life without them… you keep them close to your heart. Now we are closer than ever. @samanthairvinwwe I love you so much [heart emoji x 2].”

WWE fans congratulated the couple.

 The first-ever WWE SmackDown World Cup winner

Ricochet was the inaugural champion of the WWE SmackDown World cup. He defeated Mustafa Ali and the Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman to advance to the final round. Meanwhile, Santos Escobar took out Shinsuke Nakamura and then Butch to land in the finals against Ricochet.

In the final round of the WWE SmackDown world cup, Mann picked up the victory against Santos Escobar. Three kicks to the chin and a 630 encountered on Escobar paved the way for Ricochet’s victory.

He later went on to face Gunther for the Intercontinental Champion, but was unsuccessful in defeating Ring General.

On the final SmackDown of 2022, fans witnessed a segment where the former Intercontinental Champion busted open Gunther’s head with a steel chair. It all happened when Braun Strowman appeared during Gunther’s entrance and demanded a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

Having a 3-on-1 advantage, Gunther and his Imperium mates started attacking Braun. Fortunately for Braun, Ricochet arrived at the scene in time to save him. Just as the Imperium Leader was about to retreat, the steel chair held by Ricochet caught his head.

The medical professional immediately came to attend to the injured Imperium Leader. Later, WWE announced that Ring General was all good.
