Damian Priest is on his first run as The United States Champion on Monday Night RAW, and he has been proving why he was worthy of becoming a champion.

Priest is one of the few who successfully established his gimmick after being called up from NXT. He has been performing supremely ever since his Wrestlemania match with Bad Bunny. He’s an excellent example of ‘slow but steady’ booking.

Another champion vs. champion match is set to take place at Survivor Series. The Intercontinental champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, will go head to head with the United States champion, Damian. The match was made official through WWE’s social media accounts right before today’s episode of RAW.

The fans thought that this match would probably not happen. However, WWE found a last-minute spot on the card for the two champions. Unlike most of the matches on the Survivor Series card, these two have never gone up against each other.

The Archer of Infamy has been an unstoppable force on RAW and shows a different side of his character these days; a more brutal Priest.

Whereas the King Of Strong Style has been entertaining the crowd on SmackDown with Rick Boog. Nakamura has proved that he is more than just another wrestler in the company.

The two have different characters, and it will be interesting to see who scores a point for their brand.

Fans on Twitter have also expressed their excitement about this match because both champions have similar wrestling styles and are on top of their game right now. Many have also predicted that this match will steal the show.

While the buildup has been lackluster, WWE has quite the reputation of creating the best shows after no buildups, much like Wrestlemania 31.
