“After My Career and Everything I Have Done…”: Hulk Hogan Once Shared How Returning to the WWE Impacted His Life

Hulk Hogan is a larger-than-life icon who has become a household name since the 80s. Imbued with undeniable charisma and a superhero personality, Hogan was the first wrestler to headline the inaugural WrestleMania.

The Hulkster has parted ways with WWE many times. Like the one time, he left WWE after his match with Randy Orton at Summer Slam 2006. From the year 2007 to 2011, Hogan was absent from the company. He made his return to WWE in 2014. In an old interview, Mr. America reveals how returning to WWE in 2014 was life-changing for him.

Hogan’s return received a loud pop from the crowd

It was Hulkamania at HuffPost Live on the 27 Mar 2014 episode of the live-streaming network. During his interview, Thunder Lips opened up about his feelings about being back “home.” When the host of the live show asked what brought him back to WWE, he replied,” It’s just destiny, bro.”

“You know, there’s a plan, dude. I mean, after my career and everything I have done in the wrestling business, this is my home. This is where I needed to end up,” Mr. America added.

Hulkamania confessed that after his return, “things” went down the “right way” and “everything lined up perfectly for him.” Hogan admitted that his life came back together. Both his married life and business life ran perfectly following his comeback to the wrestling company.

When The Hulkster made his WWE return after six long years on the February 24, 2014 episode of Monday night raw, the crowd welcomed him with a deafening response and standing ovation. While addressing the crowd, Hogan claimed he was officially back home and also announced that he is the official host of WrestleMania XXX.

Hulk Hogan loves his fans

Over the years, Mr. America has garnered quite a fan base. His fans love him and the feeling is mutual. Time after time, Hulk has proved that he is a kindhearted, charitable superstar, as said by Ric Flair, who dearly loves all of his fans.

One time, The Hulkster surprised his fan with a gesture that the latter is going to remember for the rest of his life. In 2018, Hogan gave a specially-abled boy the gift of a lifetime when he greeted the kid in the middle of a road. The entire family of the kid was ecstatic to meet their favorite wrestler.

Thunder Lips shook hands with the boy and his dad and even hugged his mother. This shows though Hogan is a tough wrestler, he is a softie from the heart.
