Rhea Ripley Is Not Completely Satisfied Despite Defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, Here’s Why

WWE WrestleMania 39 day one ended with a banger. Every performance was top-notch and the one that won everybody’s heart was the clash between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair.

The match was phenomenal and Ripley turned out to be the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. But even after beating ‘The Queen’, she doesn’t seem much satisfied. And the reason is the match between Dominik Mysterio and his father Rey Mysterio.

Rhea Ripley reacts to Dominik Mysterio’s match

In the press conference after WrestleMania day one, the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion spoke to the reporters. There, she was asked about Dominik’s loss to his father, Rey Mysterio.

To this, Ripley replied that she wished she could be by Dom’s side during his match, but at the end of the day, she also had some business to handle. However, she also mentioned that she would take care of that later on.

Talking to the reporter, Rhea Ripley said, “What happened tonight, I mean, obviously wish I could have been there for my Dom Dom, my Latino Heat, Dominik Mysterio, but at the end of the day, Mami had business to settle. And Mami’s gonna settle some more business later on.”

Not only this, but Rhea Ripley also explained why ‘The Judgment Day’ walked out during Rey Mysterio’s Hall of Fame speech.

Ripley opens up about what happened at the Hall of Fame Ceremony

Rhea Ripley was also asked about The Judgement Day’s disrespectful behavior at the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. To this, she replied that Rey Mysterio should be proud of his accomplishment, but he was not a good father as he always put WWE before his son.

Ripley further mentioned that Dominik doesn’t want to sit there and hear Rey’s speech and she couldn’t put Dominik through that, that’s why they left.

“I wasn’t going to show any sort of respect to a man that can’t even be there for his son. So that’s why we remain seated. And that’s why we walked out because I’m not going to put Dominik through that. He doesn’t want to sit there……and watch his dad get inducted after he put the WWE before his own family. So that’s why we walked”

After what happened between Dominik Mysterio and his father at WrestleMania a few hours ago, it seemed like the final chapter of the Mysterio Family drama is over. However, after hearing Rhea Ripley’s words, it seems like this storyline will take a new turn now.
