WrestleMania comes once a year and allows WWE stars to make history. This year, power-packed night 1 of the grand event also saw the same thing happen.
Saturday night’s The Queen vs The Eradicator’s high profile match did not mark the main event, but it created another historical moment in WWE, especially in reference to women’s place in the Stamford-based company.
Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley match marked a historical event

The incredible match saw a powerful finish by Rhea Ripley dethroning Charlotte Flair with a riptide from the top rope after a lot of intense effort from both the stars. Apart from the super amazing performances by the competitors, there was also another cherry on the cake to draw the crowd’s attention.

The fact that the match featured women in three important roles, apart from Charlotte Flair and Ripley the match included a female referee Jessika Carr and a female ring announcer Samantha Irvin, marking the first time in WWE history such a thing has taken place at WrestleMania.

This is the first time in history when the women’s competitors battled each other surrounded by a woman referee and introduced by a woman ring announcer.
