The first night of WrestleMania 39 was packed with memorable matches. Fans hardly got any time to catch their breath as relentless action was on the offer from the word go. Seth Rollins ended up winning his contest against YouTuber-turned-wrestler Logan Paul. But not before ‘The Maverick’ again shone on the big stage. There would be many who would be looking forward to seeing more of him in WWE but have been left disappointed by Paul’s post-match remarks.

In a night that featured a battle between a father and a son as well as a tussle between two brotherly duos, Paul and Rollins had a humdinger of a clash. It was a celebratory night for the Impaulsive podcast’s host as he also completed his first year in the company. But he also confirmed that fans might be seeing the last of him as his contract with the Stamford-based promotion had ended.

Paul interacted with Cathy Kelley backstage after his sapping match with ‘The Architect’. In a part of the chat, he said, “I currently have no job because my contract ended”. Not good news for those hoping he continues to entertain in the squared circle.

But as we have grown accustomed to WWE, what happens on-screen is only half the truth. The association of Prime drink’s co-owner employment with the company reportedly might be set to continue.

Paul entered the match at Mania with a mascot dressed in a huge Prime bottle, representing the energy drink. At first, it was thought to be just a random person, but it was revealed to be UK-based Youtuber KSI to the utter surprise of fans.

Paul’s business partner KSI made a shock appearance at Mania

Paul’s business partner tried to interfere in the match by attacking Rollins and holding him for a frog splash by his friend at the announcer’s desk.

But he ended up getting splashed through the table himself as Rollins dragged him on the table.

The Maverick even commented about it in his backstage interview as he said, “You know at one point of time I thought this was the worst birthday ever.

“You know it was the moment in time when I ended my rookie year on an embarrassing loss to Seth Rollins in front of 80000 people at SoFi stadium, I accidentally frog-splashed my business partner and friend KSI through the table.”

Logan Paul can keep his chin up with another stellar performance between the ropes. It will be interesting to see whether the reports of him being offered another deal by WWE are true. We will have to wait and watch for an official confirmation.
