We know the iconic story of how Vince McMahon called Mark Calaway and asked, “Is this The Undertaker?” This is the known story about Taker joining WWE. However, prior to that, he had gone to meet Mr. McMahon at his house, and there was a hilarious story behind the meeting.
The Undertaker showed up with ripped pants in his first meeting with Vince McMahon
In the first episode of season 2 of WWE Legends Biography Live–The Undertaker, we got to hear how Taker sewed for the first time in his life. He had torn his pants at midnight from behind. He had a meeting with Vince McMahon the next day and he stayed with Paul Heyman until then.
Heyman said, “I had this sports car that was very low. So anytime 6.6ft, 6.7ft how tall Mark is, bent down to get into my sports car.”

Taker said, “I ripped the whole a** out of the seat of my pants. I said I just ripped my pants. (Imitates Paul Heyman) Don’t worry we’ll fix it all about it.” He continued, “We finally get back to Paul’s house at 3-4 in the morning.”
He added, “I’m trying to find a sewing kit, and I had never, at this point of my life, sewed up anything. I put it up back together, we got out to Vince’s house and very conscious to not like turning my back to anybody so that nobody can see the unlike match of the strings coming out of my back of my pants.”

Even though being in this uncomfortable situation, Taker had a meeting with McMahon. Heyman jokingly said Taker would have shown up with ripped pants so Mr. McMahon would remember the meeting.
Elsewhere, in the episode, Triple H recalled how 30 minutes ended up for four hours. The personality of Mark Calaway impressed Vince McMahon, and he quickly made a decision in his mind to sign Taker.
