Mental Health is one of the most important aspects of human health. Different people use different mediums to stay in good mental shape. In addition to that, athletes also maintain good mental health in order to stay on top of their health.

However, not everyone can maintain peak mental health conditions. In recent times, several athletes and entertainers had opened up about their battle with mental health.

Superstars such as Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, Bubba Wallace, Michael Phelps, and Naomi Osaka are a few athletes who have opened up about their mental health adversities.

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular entertainers in the world right now. He has earned his respect in the industry.

He started out as a football player but later switched careers from football to WWE to Hollywood. Johnson once revealed how he also suffered from depression and mental health adversities.

Bubba Wallace is one of the most successful NASCAR drivers. He is the only full-time Black driver in the league. Wallace also opened up on battling mental health problems and how to overcome those.

Entities such as Dwayne Johnson and Bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger, have also gone through mental health problems, and each of them had a unique take to it.

Speaking to People in an interview, Johnson opened up on his struggles, and gave solutions on how to overcome those. He revealed how communication is a key to overcoming such mental health problems.

Johnson stated that he felt how communicating is important, and one should always ask for help when down. The Brahma Bull of WWE revealed that it is one of the most powerful thing one can do. The 50-year-old revealed, “Asking for help is not a weakness.”

Bubba Wallace’s Netflix documentary, ‘Race: Bubba Wallace‘ also included his routine for improving his mental health. He revealed that his morning workouts help him in improving his mental health. He said, “Such a stigma that people can’t talk about being depressed.” 

He stated that one needs to snap out of it by communicating. Both Johnson and Wallace shared the same solution for improving mental health. Although communicating cannot completely cure depression, it surely can help.

Dwayne Johnson and Arnold Schwarzenegger are fond of working out and believe it can cure depression. Bubba Wallace works out because he has to, and it also helps him stay focussed.

Dwayne Johnson fought his own battles with depression

The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, is one of the most popular figures. He is one of the most well-known celebrities. However, during his growing stage, he had to face his own struggles and inner demons. While growing up, Johnson fought his own battles with depression.

After hitting a critical career setback in his 20s, he fell into depression. He had also seen his mother attempting suicide in front of him, which had traumatized him a lot. However, with time, he overcame all of those, and reached where he is today.
