Brock Lesnar has attained not only a tremendous amount of success in the pro wrestling business, but also in the MMA world. And the same goes for Bobby Lashley as well. He has left his mark in WWE as well as several mixed martial arts promotions.

These two superstars alone are minting money and bringing a lot of viewership for WWE. An American actor and producer believes UFC can also take benefit from the enormous popularity status of these two superstars. The actor wondered about why hasn’t the MMA company signed The Beast and The Almighty for a fight yet?

In season 2, episode 30 of Wrestling with Freddie, Freddie Prinze Jr and Jeff Dye talked about last Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event. During the episode of Big Season 2 Finale and Thoughts on Elimination Chamber, Prinze wonders why “UFC could never make” a match between the two of the biggest star in pro wrestling and combat sports.

Prinze believes that the President of UFC, Dana White, should have made this match as he thinks it would have been a blockbuster event for UFC. Prinze says, If I’m Dana White, I’m telling Bobby Lashley, here’s $5 million. Then you give Brock $5 million, give him a piece of the pay-per-view and walk home with hundreds of millions of dollars.”

Then Dye says that if that was to happen, Vince McMahon would be “furious.” But he also mentions that the match would turn out to be a giant success for the UFC.

A highlight of Lesnar and Lashley’s MMA careers

The Conqueror had two runs in UFC from 2008 to 2011 and 2016 to 2018. He made his UFC debut at UFC 81: Breaking Point on February 2008. In his first match in the MMA promotion company, Lesnar squared off against Frank Mir, in which the former lost. In 2011, he returned to WWE as a full-time pro wrestler.

On July 2016, Lesnar returned to the octagon for the second time at UFC 200. Fast forward to 2017, he retired from the MMA promotion for the second time. In those five years of his time in the UFC, he earned the UFC Heavyweight championship one time. He also had a couple of successful title defenses.

Coming to Lashley, he has had a better MMA career than The Conqueror spreading over a decade and more. Though he has never set foot inside the UFC ring, he has fought in many other MMA promotions, like Bellator MMA, Shark Fights, Strikeforce, etc.

He made his MMA debut on the Mixed Fighting Alliance (MFA). In MMA, he has held Shark Fights Heavyweight Championship and XFN Heavyweight Championship, one time each.
