As a man with immense credibility in both the sporting and entertainment world, Dwayne Johnson rubs shoulders with the biggest name in both realms. One of whom is close friends with the 51-year-old and is also an ambassador of his Project Rock collaboration with apparel giant Under Armour.
Recently, the Olympian Ambassador interacted with young girls and held an interactive session with them.

Not just his camaraderie with Kevin Hart, but Dwayne Johnson’s friendship with Lindsey Vonn is equally strong. The two frequently interact with one another and have even worked out together. The 2010 Vancouver Olympic gold medalist is also Project Rock’s ambassador and recently visited the Girls Athletic Leadership School in Los Angeles as part of a collaboration.

The event was jointly organized by Johnson’s Project Rock and Vonn’s eponymous Lindsey Vonn Foundation. Sharing images from the interactive session, Project Rock stated: “You’ll find these next-gen disruptors at the intersection of grit, self-worth, and kindness.”
“They’re the next generation of disruptors, we’re just here to empower them,” part of the caption added.

Meanwhile, UFC fans criticized Project Rock earlier after he pledged support for an African fighter. But why?

Dwayne Johnson has had a humble beginning. From just seven dollars in the bank, he is now worth $800 million. we have often seen Johnson helping others in need. Recently, he came across a tweet that reflected the poor financial status of a South Africa-based UFC fighter. Interestingly, Themba Gorimbo, a UFC welterweight fighter, also had seven dollars left in his account.
Johnson knows the plight of having such a low balance and empathized with the 32-year-old. He also tweeted in support of the MMA fighter and vowed to help him. However, fans turned against The Great One after seeing the tweet. They immediately pointed out his deal with the UFC.

For the unversed, Johnson’s Project Rock has a deal with the UFC, which makes it mandatory for fighters to wear the shoes during fight week. One UFC fan even asked The Rock how much he has contributed to fighters from the money he’s made through the said deal.
