Now, given the TKO group sitting atop both companies, it is not at all surprising to see the flag bearers of each sport coming across the others more frequently than ever. The couple often takes time off to see each other or spend quality time in a tranquil holiday destination. But as it should when two sports buffs come together, they most of the time end up hitting a stadium to watch an exciting football match or binge on other sports. This time, the wrestling power couple visited the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida to witness a spectacular UFC extravaganza alongside many other high-profile celebrities.

Mami not only just watched the game with undivided attention, but she also took to her Twitter to appreciate fellow Aussie star, Jack Della Maddalena, on his incredible win against Gilbert Burns.

Moving ahead, the proximity between the two sports is not one-sided, rather there have been major instances of UFC veterans taking an interest in in-ring affairs as well.

Conor McGregor softens up on the idea of his potential WWE debut

Ever since the TKO takeover came into force, a series of changes emerged in the WWE and UFC. An increased chance of crossover events is one among them. Despite Dana White’s initial dissent, we see this is where things might be gradually heading.

As part of the evolution, UFC’s Michael Chandler showed up in the red brand during its February 19 episode. He cut a super-thrilling promo, taking a direct dig at his rival, Conor McGregor.

Days later, McGregor gave his response during an interview with Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple. When the host asked him if he was eying a WWE debut at any point in time, McGregor took a brief pause to settle the doubt in his mind and said: ”You never know let’s see.”

This is considered a big tease given how dismissive and critical McGregor was about WWE in the past. Whether he makes a transition from MMA to sports entertainment is up to speculation as of now, But there is space for hope, at least.
