One of the most brutal and daunting wrestlers on the roster, Brock Lesnar has always maintained an aura about himself. However, during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, a former UFC fighter, and former boyfriend of Ronda Rousey opened up on the more lighter side of Lesnar.
Wrestlers and MMA fighters often portray a gimmick on television, and have a strikingly different persona off-screen. However, being a private person, fans are not much aware of Lesnar’s personal life, and off-screen persona. But, 40-year-old Brendan Schaub made a major revelation about Lesnar’s personality away from the cameras.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Brendan Schaub revealed a major lesser-known fact about Brock Lesnar. Despite coming off as a scary and intimidating character on screen, Schaub revealed that Lesnar might possibly be the “nicest guy ever.”
Schaub revealed that during Lesnar’s fight with Shane Carwin, and his fight with Chris Tuchscherer in 2010, he trash talked about Lesnar. The two fights have a major personal angle connected to it as well. While Carwin was Schaub’s best friend, Tuchscherer was Lesnar’s best friend and trainer.
During the latest interview, 40-year-old Schaub revealed, “ He’s a good dude too. A good guy, great guy. Just when he was fighting Shane, the way they did the story it was Brock Lesnar’s training partner Chris Tuchscherer who was 20 and 1 at time, they were best friends and training partners. Shane Carwin and I were best friends and training partners.”
He further continued, “I kicked the pay-per-view off. So, I talked all the s**t not about my partner Chris Tuchscherer, he’s whatever but Brock Lesnar. And so the UFC gives me an award. It was on Thursday or Friday before the fight, they give me an award. And we’re all together and Brock’s there and like, oh, no, I’ve talked to all this s**t.”
However, what shocked Schaub was Lesnar’s attitude toward him. Schaub said, “Brock was just not like killed me with kindness. It was like I’m so proud man. Like, from football. Are you kidding me, man? Is it good for you, brother, good for you. I get it, man. I was like, Oh, wow, you’re like the nicest guy ever. He’s such a good person. Such a good person. Yeah, I was like, I don’t want to fight this guy. He’s cool.”
This very incident proved how stars can be completely different personalities in real life. The Beast Incarnate is one of the most humble athletes ever, and Schaub proved why.
Brock Lesnar once showed his softer side to WWE superstar Natalya
The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar is infamous for his savage side, and dominant stature. However, often in very rare scenarios, the 46-year-old showed off his unknown soft side. WWE veteran Natalya once revealed a very kind, and helpful side of him.
Speaking to Sports Guys Talking Wrestling last year, Natalya revealed how Lesnar always makes sure to watch the matches of his colleagues, and provide his own critique and feedback on them. Natalya revealed on the podcast, “Brock watches all of our matches in Gorilla and the last match that I had at SmackDown, he watched and he critiqued and gave us feedback and gave us advice, told us what we would do better.”
