Brock Lesnar has always been an athlete who never gives up. He is always loved being competitive in his career, be it WWE, NCAA, or UFC.
The Beast Incarnate joining UFC initially came as a shock for many people. However, he proved everyone wrong when he won the UFC Heavyweight Championship. After winning the title, he fought in one of the important matches at UFC 100 against Frank Mir. Moreover, at the time, his wife was pregnant with their second child.

In his autobiography, Death Clutch, Brock Lesnar mentioned his wife Rena Greek, aka Sable, was alone during the last month of her pregnancy. Lesnar had become impatient for his fight against Frank Mir at UFC 100 and Sable was very much supportive of him training full time for the fight.
Lesnar writes, “Thank God my wife was mature enough to understand what I needed to do. She went through the last part of her pregnancy practically alone while I trained. But she understood, and she couldn’t have been more supportive.”
This fight at UFC 100 is one of the most important fights for Lesnar. The match for the UFC Heavyweight Title Unification was a way for Lesnar to defeat Frank Mir. In Lesnar’s first fight, Mir had defeated him at UFC 81. The Greek understood every bit of it and let Lesnar concentrated on his fight, as she handled the last month of pregnancy alone.
The Beast in the book has stated once he won the fight, he went back home to meet his second son. He stated that coming out of UFC 100 was a fresh feeling as he became the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion and became a father once again.
What did Brock Lesnar do to remain calm until the fight night?
Brock Lesnar has stated multiple times that his fight against Frank Mir was one of the most important matches for him. He was impatient and irritated to attend the press conferences and answer the same questions. He wanted some alone time to be calm until Saturday, when the fight was scheduled.

Lesnar says he watched movies for being calm. He says, “I went to the movies eight times during the week of UFC 100. Matinees,nighttime movies, anything to escape the hype for a couple of hours. It’s like the calm before the storm.”

The former WWE Champion claims that the entire week before the fight is the longest for him. Lesnar had completed the training and wanted to fight during the UFC 100 week. It drove him crazy as there was nothing for him to do until the fight night arrived, where he was excited to face Frank Mir.
