In the past, we have seen UFC stars appearing in WWE and in other pro wrestling promotions. For example, WWE SmackDown superstar Ronda Rousey, Cain Velasquez, and others have stepped inside the pro wrestling ring in the past. But several WWE stars once took a shot at the UFC president Dana White.
Some years ago, Dana White got some hostile reactions for calling WWE and pro wrestling “fake”. Soon after White’s “fake” comments, some WWE stars took to social media to reply to White’s claims, including Sheamus and Mick Foley.
Below are some tweets from Dana White and the responses from Sheamus and Mick Foley. Foley noted that “fake” was a poor word choice by the UFC President.

— danawhite (@danawhite) August 1, 2015
@RKORollins not disrespecting what they do. All the WWE guys I have met are awesome people but yes it's fake.
— danawhite (@danawhite) August 1, 2015
Some call @UFC fake… IT IS… Fearless Artistry Kombat Evolved. 100%. @danawhite. https://t.co/B7RPpfqNwX
— Sheamus (@WWESheamus) August 2, 2015
"Fake" was a poor word choice by @danawhite. @RondaRousey's tribute to Roddy is a heartfelt move from the most popular fighter in the world.
— Mick Foley (@RealMickFoley) August 2, 2015
However, Sheamus and Foley are not the only WWE stars to take a shot at Dana White for his controversial comments. Seth Rollins, Bully Ray, and others also had interesting reactions to Dana White’s “fake” comments.
Guys, cut @danawhite some slack. I mean he's had a million matches, so his opinion is super valid and should be taken as gospel.
— Seth “MR. MITB” Rollins (@WWERollins) August 2, 2015
.@danawhite Sir, "do the right thing" and apologize to THE industry that laid the groundwork for YOUR industry. Have a great show tonight.
— Bully Ray (@bullyray5150) August 1, 2015
Good thing you had "FAKE" @BrockLesnar in @ufc to be your biggest PPV draw of all time. https://t.co/gaAOwxbN7T

But this is not the only time someone called WWE or pro wrestling fake. In the past, several individuals have called WWE and pro wrestling made-up. Though the results are mostly predetermined in WWE, the bumps and risks the pro wrestlers take inside the ring are real. They also get injured during matches and sometimes, the injuries can also end their careers.

Dana White is not the only person from the UFC who got hostile reactions from WWE stars
Back in 2016, McGregor claimed he would slap the head off WWE’s entire roster. Soon after this claim by McGregor, several WWE stars and WWE legends took to social media to take a shot at Conor McGregor. Kurt Angle, Roman Reigns and Bully Ray are some of those individuals.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.
— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) August 7, 2016
very funny little guy. Why don't you get your head out of Dana White's ass
— Kurt Angle (@RealKurtAngle) August 7, 2016
Your the size of my leg. Shut up. https://t.co/fBVEdf8hE1
— Roman Reigns (@WWERomanReigns) August 7, 2016
I would pay good $$ to see @RealKurtAngle STRETCH THE PISS outta @TheNotoriousMMA and make him tap. #itstrue https://t.co/Uvo8H34nHy
— Bully Ray (@bullyray5150) August 7, 2016
But that was not the only time McGregor received some hostile reactions from WWE stars. Also, recently, just after WrestleMania 38, McGregor once again claimed that the WWE stars fear him. Soon after this post from McGregor, he once again got some hostile reactions from WWE stars on social media. WWE superstar Drew McIntyre even called Conor McGregor “McTapper”.
Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.
