White said, Listen, if there’s something there, like Ronda [Rousey] going over there, like Brock [Lesnar] coming over here, if that… whether we were with them or not, if that was the case, we would do that stuff. But the relationship has been incredible. “

“Vince [McMahon]has been an amazing partner. I’ll always like Triple H and Stephanie [McMahon], we’re having a good time with those guys.” the UFC President added. Things are looking all good between WWE and UFC since the merger that took place two months ago, which is great business-wise.

But as mentioned before, in the past there were some issues between the two combat sports promotions, as they considered themselves as rivals. Especially McMahon, who always considered UFC as WWE’s biggest competitor in the combat sports world. He even went to great lengths to ensure the UFC didnt pose a threat to WWE in the past.

McMahon once cost UFC a great

Business is everything for McMahon, and he is a very competitive businessman. His competitiveness once cost UFC a great deal, White revealed in an interview with Triggered, just a while ago. Many years back, the UFC president wanted to ink a deal with NBC to air UFC on their network.

They had completed all the formalities to finalize the deal. The only last thing that remained was a signature from ‘Vinne Mac’. For no such apparent reason, McMahon rejected to sign on the dotted line, thus refusing to give his approval for the deal.

It was a significant deal that UFC lost, just because of McMahon’s whim. But the past is in the past now. White has commented on many occasions that ‘Mr. McMahon’ is a changed person now. He is much more receptive to others’ thoughts and ideas. Plus, he also respects others’ choices and decisions.
